General Information
Group 6 is hosting an Airman Leadership School (ALS) for North Texas 14-16 March 2025 at Fort Wolters, Mineral Wells. The primary purpose of ALS is to teach cadets leadership skills, drill, customs and courtesies, and to embrace the core values. ALS gives exposure to nearly everything Civil Air Patrol has to offer as most of the time it is a cadet’s first activity outside the squadron level. It also prepares students and staff for activities like Encampment and beyond. Training (for students) is geared toward Cadet Airman Basics through Cadet Staff Sergeants (at the time of application) that have not previously attended an ALS or Encampment.
Cost:
$70.00 for Cadet Students includes all meals, lodging, a t-shirt and items awarded upon graduation
$40.00 for Cadet Cadre
$40.00 for Senior Member Staff

The staff opportunity is focused on members in Groups II, III and VI. Cadets and senior members from other groups and wings may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Details on staff registration will be published at a later date.
