General Information
Group VI is hosting an Airman Leadership School (ALS) for North Texas 13-15 March 2026 at Fort Wolters, Mineral Wells. The primary purpose of ALS is to teach cadets leadership skills, drill, customs and courtesies, and to embrace the core values. ALS gives exposure to many things Civil Air Patrol has to offer as most of the time it is a cadet’s first activity outside the local squadron. It also prepares students and staff for activities like Encampment and beyond. Training (for students) is geared toward Cadet Airman Basics through Cadet Staff Sergeants (at the time of application) that have not previously attended an ALS or Encampment.
Cost:
$70.00 for Cadet Students includes all meals, lodging, a t-shirt and items awarded upon graduation
$45.00 for Cadet Cadre
$20.00 for Senior Member Staff
