Southwest Region Cadet Leadership School (RCLS) will be taking place from 22-29 June 2024 at Camp Gruber in Braggs, Oklahoma. Applications for Students close on Mar 31st. There are 20 student slots. 

The June 2024 Southwest Region Cadet Leadership School will be a rigorous, challenging, and rewarding experience for all its participants. This school is designed to give Cadet Officers new tools and the knowledge needed to be leaders in Civil Air Patrol and in life. This RCLS will be blending classroom theory with hands-on leadership projects to help cadets grasp the concepts presented. Cadets will participate in group discussions and work as a team to accomplish shared goals. RCLS (or COS) credit is required to obtain the Eaker Award so don’t miss out!

Cadet Cadre Applications

Are you interested in an opportunity to be a part of a Region Cadet Leadership School? Southwest Region Cadet Leadership School (RCLS) will be taking place from 22-29 June 2024 (With a Training Day on June 21st) at Camp Gruber in Braggs, Oklahoma. Applications will close for Cadet Commandant and Instructors on 10 Feb 2024. There are 5 Instructor slots and 1 Commandant slot.

We are currently looking for a Cadet Commandant as well as Instructors. If you are interested please fill out this application thru the link below. There are a limited number of positions for staff at this event, if you are selected you will receive further instructions. Cadre will either need to fly into Tulsa International Airport or drive to Camp Gruber on the 21st (time TBD).

All Cadre must already have RCLS credit and have a minimum grade of C/2d Lt upon time of application.

Senior Staff Applications

Mark your calendars! Southwest Region Cadet Leadership School (RCLS) will be taking place from 22-29 June 2024 (With a Training Day on June 21st) at Camp Gruber in Braggs, Oklahoma. If you enjoy mentoring cadets with their leadership and instructing skills then this is the place for you. We are looking for Senior Members that have the passion to mentor cadet leaders. Applications will close for Senior Mentors on 10 Feb 2024. There are 4 Mentor slots and 1 PA slot. 

For Senior Members wishing to be a part of this event please fill out the application thru the link below. There are a limited number of positions for this event, if you are selected you will receive further instructions. Senior Members will either need to fly into Tulsa International Airport or drive to Camp Gruber on the 21st (time TBD).

Senior Members will be required to have TLC Basic credit before the event.

Prior experience is not required.

Student Applications

Student Applications will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. If you accept your slot you will be required to complete a Registration packet along with CAP Medical forms. Separate information will be sent out regarding purchasing tickets so please check your emails regularly. We will notify you upon receipt of application and if you are waitlisted for the event. Students will either need to fly into Tulsa International Airport or drive to Camp Gruber on the 22nd (time TBD).

Students MUST have a minimum grade of C/2dLt upon time of application.
